Further Announcements

Rejoice, full of Grace, the Lord will be with you in a couple of weeks!
If you go by the normal calendar, you will figure that 9 months from today is Christmas. Therefore, traditionally, this day is the Feast of the Annunciation. Gabriel appeared to Mary, told her about the Spirit overshadowing her, and then 9 months later, manger, shepherds, Gloria In Excelsis Deo.

But we don't get to celebrate the Annunciation today. It's Monday of Holy Week (Lent is over, by the way) and somehow that pushes the Annunciation over to another day. Nope, not next Monday because that's the Monday in the Octave of Easter. It's the next Monday after that. April 8th.

Christmas, however, will be December 25th as usual.

Don't try to figure this all out. Just...go with it...
