Reports are out today that the Vatican's Congregation for the Causes of Saints has accepted a miracle that is attributed to the intercession of the Venerable Pope John Paul II. This would mean that if Pope Benedict accepts the congregations findings, a date could soon be set for Pope John Paul II to be beatified - one step closer to (and only one step away from) sainthood!
