WYD 2013: Life's a Beach

The thirteenth World Youth Day wrapped up yesterday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a closing Mass celebrated by Pope Francis. The theme of this year's WYD was "Go and Make Disciples of All Nations - Mt. 28:19." You can read the Holy Father's homily, in full, here.

There are tons of amazing stories from this year's WYD (including the announcement that the next WYD in 2016 will be in Krakòw, Poland - the birthplace of soon-to-be-Saint John Paul II - for those who, ya know, want to go ahead and get a room or something), and lots of great images, too.
