Washington-bound... prayers up!

March for Life 2012 attracted over 500,000. More are expected this year.

As many of you know (and as Phillip pointed out in a post last week), a group of us CCM folks are heading to Washington, D.C. tomorrow morning to take part in this year's March for Life. Over a hundred folks from the Diocese of Jackson (mostly teenagers and young adults) will travel to our nation's capital to mark a sad anniversary in our nation's history: 40 years of federally-mandated access to abortion due to the infamous Roe v. Wade decision of 1973.

Please pray for us as we make this pilgrimage of justice, as we attempt to lend a voice to those innocent children in the womb who have no voice and no protection under the law. Phillip has promised to give regular updates to our SFC readers and we'll make sure and take lots of pictures, too. But, again, please pray for us. More importantly, however, please pray that the culture of death will pass away and a culture of life will take firm root in our country!
